Saturday February 13th,

Lake effect snow will continue today but gradually taper off during the afternoon. Heavy at times with blowing and drifting snow also an issue.  An additional 1-3" can be expected in the lake effect prone areas of northern Indiana and southwest Michigan. Snow totals will be 4 to 7 inches by late afternoon. Blowing and drifting will remain a concern today as winds remain gusty.  Highs are only expected to be in the low to mid teens! Partly cloudy conditions are expected tonight with lows in the lower single digits. Wind chills will be 5-10 below zero Sunday morning.  Clouds increase once again Sunday afternoon with snow showers developing.  A coating to an inch will be possible.  Snow showers continue tomorrow night with another 1-2" possible.  There will be another chance of snow on Monday, but temperatures will be warmer.  The moderating trend continues through the coming work week.
