Thank you for helping us raise money for the Nappanee Tornado Victims' Assistance Fund!
WSBT-TV and NewsTalk 960 WSBT teamed up on Friday, October 26 to collect donations for the victims of the tornado that hit Nappanee October 18, 2007.
With your generous donations, we collected more than $9,500 in just two hours!
Our crews accepted donations at Mishawaka High School for the Penn-Mishawaka game, and at NorthWood High School where the Panthers played John Glenn.
We also took donations at a phone bank in the WSBT Studios.
A check for $9,592 will be given to city of Nappanee for their Tornado Victims' Assistance Fund.
But it's not too late: You can still donate on WSBT.com!
All the donations will go to the "Nappanee Tornado Victims' Assistance Fund" set up through the City of Nappanee.
