Deadly Midwest tornadoes
Eight people were killed and 100 injured in downstate Harrisburg when a severe pre-dawn storm pounded southern Illinois. At least 16 tornadoes were reported from Nebraska and Kansas across southern Missouri to Illinois and Kentucky, according to the Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma.

Rebuilt on Brady Street
Six months ago, Stacy Cottom and her husband Doug survived the destruction of their home on Brady Street in Harrisburg where 6 of their neighbors died. They've recently moved into their rebuilt home at the same location. Eight lives were lost in Harrisburg.
