After a day of winter weather across all of Michiana, the system snow has exited out of our area, leaving behind several inches of snowfall. Most locations north of US-20 received 2-5" of snow on average. Areas south of US-20 picked up in excess of a half of a foot.
All winter weather advisories and winter storm warnings have been allowed to expire. Our attention now turns to lake effect snow, which will develop early Sunday morning. We do not expect significant snowfall from this lake effect setup, however, it could put down 1-3" of new snowfall in the lake effect areas.
