A popular restaurant will not be open for the Notre Dame football season.
Maury's Pub in Mishawaka announced on Facebook Monday night it will not be opening back up in time for the first game on August 30.
In May, the restaurant closed its doors as owner Maury Cocquyt battled cancer.
The pub's Facebook page says treatment is taking way longer than everyone expected, and Maury is still fighting but in good spirits.
They had hoped to reopen by the start of the season.
