Hundreds of Boy and Girl Scouts with every scout and age division between toured the WSBT studios Saturday during WSBT's first "Scout Day" event.
Scouts from all around Michiana saw firsthand key aspects of television and radio broadcasts.
The children got to meet our staff, go behind the scenes, get their picture taken on the WSBT news set and even got a badge!
Undoubtedly the most popular tour point was the "green wall" on the WSBT-TV weather set.
Chief Meteorologist Paul Emmick and his team of meteorologists Cari Peugeot, Abby Weppler and Matt Rudkin showed scouts the fun side of being a weather forecaster.
While at the WSBT stations, scouts also toured the Sunny 101.5 radio studio.
The WSBT staff thanks all the scouts, their leaders and parents who toured our facilities!
