Several members of the Notre Dame football team returned to South Bend late Tuesday afternoon.

Meantime, several thousand Alabama football fans helped welcome home  the national champs at the Tuscaloosa airport.

Alabama crushed Notre Dame 42-14 Monday night for its third BCS title in four years.

WSBT's David McCoy was at Bama coach Nick Saban’s news conference and reports Saban is already talking about next season.
