In the center of the picture, rescuers are trying to revive the victim. The woman in the upper left is also a hero. She is relaying instructions from a 911 dispatcher. There are no life guards on duty at Sand Lake.

These pictures were taken just after the victim was pulled from Sand Lake. I don't know the names of any of the people in the pictures, but some of them are real heroes. My six year old son, who took several of the pictures, told me that the victim's name is Cameron. I am glad to hear that he is going to be OK.

wow, these are powerful pictures, especially the one with the mom holding her child. this would be a good promt for the station to do a story on water safety.
