Every Fourth of July, competitive eaters converge upon Coney Island to take part in the annual Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest, including reigning champ <b>Joey Chestnut</b> and his Japanese nemesis <b>Takeru Kobayashi</b> (who didn't compete at the 2010 competition due to a dispute with the Major League of Eating but was <a href="http://blog.zap2it.com/thedishrag/2010/07/takeru-kobayashi-arrested-at-nathans-hot-dog-contest.html">arrested by NYPD instead</a>).<br> <br> You don't have to be a professional gurgitator, however, to enjoy the nice snap of casing around processed meat.
